• We are developing  a new web application using cutting-edge tools

Who you are:

• You are a Software Developer with focus (or interest in) Ruby on Rails
• You can communicate effectively with both techies and non-techies alike
• You have a portfolio of open-source or commercial work you’re proud to show us
• You have opinions on better tools & technologies and love to try new things.
• You are pragmatic and choose the best tool for the job
• You have a solid understanding of software fundamentals such as object-oriented programming, relational databases, and revision control
• You have a good grasp of web application fundamentals such as MVC and REST, as well as web application scalability and security

What you know:

• Ruby on Rails
• DB administration, particularly mySQL
• JavaScript, HTML & CSS (Sass, jQuery)
• Test-driven development
• Web standards

Salary is commensurate with experience.
